Terms of Use
These terms are the agreement between you and [Legal name] (“we”) for using Orbky. By using Orbky you agree to them.
The service
Orbky is an iPhone app, a Mac app, Orbky Cloud (which syncs your data and connects your iPhone to your Mac) and this website. We keep improving it, so features may change. We’ll tell you in the app before we remove something you pay for.
Your account
You can use Orbky as a guest, or sign in with an email code, Google or Apple. You must be at least 13, or 16 in the European Union. Keep your devices secure: anyone who can open Orbky on them can use your account. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Orbky to:
- break the law or anyone’s rights;
- control a computer you don’t own or aren’t allowed to control, or read someone else’s data;
- harass people, spread malware, send spam or run automated abuse through agents;
- overload, probe or get around the limits and security of Orbky Cloud;
- break the terms of the AI providers you use.
We may suspend or close an account that does these things.
Your content
What you write, upload and create with Orbky is yours. You give us permission to store, copy and transmit it only to run Orbky for you: to sync it, show it on your devices and send it where you ask. We don’t use it to train AI models and we don’t sell it.
AI output
AI answers can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check anything important before you rely on it, especially about health, law or money. Money in Orbky tracks what you spend; it isn’t financial advice. When you use your own key, the provider’s terms and prices apply, and you pay them directly.
Your Mac
Agents act on your Mac only when you link it, and only at your direction. Screen actions ask for your approval the first time in a chat, and shell commands every time. Read what you approve: you’re responsible for actions you allow. Claude Code and Codex are other companies’ software and run under your own agreements with them. You can turn screen control off or unlink your Mac at any time.
Subscriptions
Orbky Pro will be sold through the App Store. Apple handles payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds, and Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies alongside these terms. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in your Apple account settings. The included AI has a fair-use allowance so the service stays good for everyone.
No warranty
Orbky is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Keep your own copies of anything important.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if that is more. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer.
Ending
You can stop using Orbky and delete your account in the app at any time (Settings › Account › Delete account). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we have to by law, and we’ll tell you why unless the law prevents it. If we shut Orbky down, we’ll give you notice and time to export your data.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app before it takes effect. Using Orbky after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [Country / jurisdiction], and disputes go to the courts of [City, Country]. If you’re a consumer, you keep the protection of the laws where you live.
